Agnes in the Arctic: Oopsies in Dahlbrebukta (Print)
In April of 2023, I visited the Arctic Circle as part of the Arctic Circle Residency. The trip consisted of two weeks on a sailing ship with land excursions and dinghy cruises. We set sail from Longyearbyen, Svalbard, which is the northernmost settlement on this Norwegian archipelago. We traveled along the western side of Svalbard, reaching as high north as safely possible to the northern ice cap.
On this residency, I brought a part of an old sculpture/installation titled "Oopsies" with me to photograph in the Arctic landscape. This inkjet print is of the 3D penned pair of stanchions and chains in the snow, ice, and wind.
Prints are in two sizes:
- 6" x 10" (edition of 10)
- 9" x 16" (edition of 5)
